IronSight is seeking two Field Coordinators to join its Managed Services team.

This role will regularly liaise with our clients operating organization including internal and third-party service providers utilized by IronSight clients. The focus of this position will be driving operational efficiency and effectiveness with the IronSight platform.

In this role you will:

  • Schedule, dispatch, monitor and manage third-party and internal services related to service rig work for an IronSight client
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be the front-line communicator to ensure all services are consistently scheduled and dispatched to safely meet predetermined plans

  • Position Type: Full-Time or Contract (Shift Pattern 7 on | 7 off)

  • Hourly Rate: Competitive based on experience

What You'll Do

The Field Coordinator duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations in support of rigs according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
  • Coordinate the direction and utilization of disposal and facility capacity with production operations and carriers using company procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information
  • Collaborate with and communicate information such as work orders, changing requirements and priorities, or other messages to clients, work crews, field inspectors, supervisors, or emergency personnel
  • Quickly and effectively communicate changes in the business to key stakeholders to ensure we are providing top-of-the-line service to our clients.
  • Define problems or opportunities for improvement, identify root causes, and determine effective solutions
  • Speak with IronSight clients and third parties on requests for services or equipment
  • Organize, analyze, and track relevant information using the IronSight platform
  • Model behaviors that support IronSight’s core values and those of our clients you work with
  • Ensure all activities follow IronSight rules, regulations, policies, and procedures along with those of our clients
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Flexibility to be on-call as needed

What you Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of oil and gas field logistics or dispatch experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a skilled trade, business, logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent considered an asset
  • Proficiency in the English Language, with the ability to comprehend and communicate complex plans and instructions in a clear and logical manner
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when relaying information in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with a team and work independently
  • Strong ability to multitask, work through high-pressure situations, and make decisions that have a significant financial impact within a limited timeframe
  • Must be able to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines imposed in a dynamic environment
  • Conventional oilfield experience in Bonnyville and surrounding area is an asset
  • Knowledge of legal land descriptions
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required; intermediate to advanced experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of SCADA would be an asset

Working Conditions

  • Majority will be in an office onsite with the client, predominantly computer and desk work
  • Minimal travel with occasional trips to the field required
  • Must have own transportation to client’s site
  • Ability to answer client requests during the day and at night which will require the candidate to be accessible while away from the office
  • Overtime required
  • Night shift may be required
